The System Should Cover the Following Training Objective:

Familiarization with conversion of rotational energy into electrical energy

Effect of torque and speed on the efficiency of the transmission

Effect of torque and speed on the efficiency of the generator

Effect of the typical torque characteristic of a wind rotor on the overall efficiency of the drive train

Minimum Technical Specifications Required (like or better than):

Drive motor with rated speed: 20rpm, speed range: 4 to 20rpm, rated power: 0.35kW and maximum torque: 150Nm

spur gear with transmission ratio 1:53, load capacity: 330Nm, efficiency: not less than 90%

DC generator with speed 1070rpm, power: 140W and maximum current/voltage: 10A/28V and connections for electrical load

Capability of performing simulation of typical torque characteristics

Should include adjustable load with switchable digital display for current or voltage

Sensors for generator speed and torques of the drive side and of the generator

Should include a measuring amplifier with digital displays and control elements

Analogue outputs for transmitting the measured values for torque and speed

Set of instructional material

Speed measuring range: 0 to 1100rpm

Torque measuring ranges: 0 to 190Nm and 0 to 10Nm

Current measuring range: 0.005 to 23A

Voltage measuring range: 0 to 75V
